the results of applications for2011/2012 public university places will be announced
tomorrow and available via the
Internet, phone and text
messaging.
Applicants can opt to check the
results of their applications at
upu.mohe.gov.my, jpt.utm.my,
and jpt.uum.edu.my.
They can also obtain the
information via text message by
sending“UPU RESULT” followed
by their MyKad numbers to
15888, or they can contact the
Ministry of Higher Education at
03-88835858, 03-88835848,
and 03-88835801.
The ministry also advised those
offered places in the universities
to make their course selections
in a timely manner.
Successful applicants can obtain
their formal offer letters at the
websites of their respective
universities, which must be
printed out and returned by May
14.
Appeals of the placement results
can be made via the e-Rayuan
system and must be submitted
on or before May 16. The results
of the appeals will be made
available via the
upu.mohe.gov.my site in the
second week of June.
